Submissions

stroller scene develops plays in service of helping writers experiment and grow. We love plays of all kinds of genres, styles, and subject matter, as long as you're excited about them and their future. We come to the theater for all of its adventures, mysteries, and meditations.

A few tips for submissions:

• Your play doesn’t have to be production-ready. In fact, it shouldn’t be! But it should be a complete draft that you’re excited about.

• Tell us a little bit about you and where you’re at with your play.

• We’re a small company, so please limit yourself to one submission at a time and be patient with us as it might take us a little bit to get back to you.

• At this time, all of our programs are based out of the New York City area, so keep that in mind if you’re from out of town.
